Many individuals are being laid off from their jobs and are forced to try and file for unemploymentdue to the outbreak. Briana Bailey, of Bethesda Interior Design was laid off and stated, "I'm just trying to make the best of everything and take it day by day." The Maryland Department of Labor has released a FAQ’s sheet to aid those experiencing financial hardships during this time.  Government officials as well as the health department urge people to wash their hands, avoid touching face or mouth, to keep a safe distance between you and others and to always cover yourcoughs and/or sneezes. New information has also surfaced from the CDC regarding N95 face masks and how individuals should wear those out in public instead of homemade ones to significantly help decrease the spread of the virus.
